No general information is collected from users. The app does not collect specific information from any user, and the same applies to all users. The permissions we request are solely for the enhancement of the app's features.
Location:
We collect location data to provide accurate Qibla direction, prayer timings, and Islamic data relevant to the user’s region.
Notifications:
We send one daily notification for the Ayat of the day and notifications for prayer times if the user permits in settings.
Media Storage (Photo Gallery):
This permission is required for downloading Quran translations and sharing prayer times, Duas, Ayats, and images from the gallery.
Device Information:
Device information is collected to gain better insights into crashes reported by users.
Push Notifications:
Device identifiers are collected to send push notifications, which help keep users informed about important updates and features.
Note: The above information is not saved on any server. Users can change these permissions at any time through their device’s settings.
To understand the statistics of user numbers based on region and device model, we collect app analytics through Firebase (Google). This same method is also used to identify and address crash occurrences.
User preferences, including notification settings, are stored locally on the smartphone and not on any server, ensuring the security and privacy of user preferences.
We do not share user information with any social media platform. We adhere to a strict policy regarding user data. Different statistics, such as installation numbers and views, are used for internal marketing purposes through platforms like Firebase or Google, but this data is not shared with any third-party vendor, user, or any other entity.

As International Technology Mission continues to evolve, we reserve the right to modify this privacy policy in the event of new features, content, or permissions. Users are encouraged to review the privacy policy periodically. Continued use of the app after such updates implies acceptance of the revised policy.
If you wish to delete your data, please contact us at help@wasil.io. We will delete your data within 15 days. Please note that once the data is deleted, you will no longer be able to access it.
Quranic Translations:
All Quranic translations are manually composed and, therefore, may contain human errors. If any error is found and reported, it will be corrected promptly.
Namaz Timings:
Prayer times provided by the app are specific to the user’s location, based on data collected via Google. These times may differ from local Masjid timings depending on your precise location. Users are advised to follow their local Masjid’s timings in case of any discrepancies.
Halal Places:
Information on Halal places is collected via the Google Places API. Since this data is user-generated, it is prone to errors. Users are encouraged to use the app to find Halal places but should independently verify the authenticity of these places.
Hadith Translations:
Various Hadith translations are sourced from reputable publishers.
No Warranties:
The app is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We disclaim any and all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the services provided will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Users acknowledge that the use of the app is at their own risk.
Limitation of Liability:
In no event shall International Technology Mission, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from the use or inability to use the app, unauthorized access to or alteration of your data, or any other matter relating to the app. This limitation applies even if International Technology Mission has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification:
Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless International Technology Mission, its developers, affiliates, and partners from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with their use of the app, violation of these terms, or any content they upload, share, or otherwise transmit through the app.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising out of or related to it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where International Technology Mission operates. Users agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy or the app.
Force Majeure:
International Technology Mission shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, technical failures, or interruptions in internet services.
Severability:
If any provision of this Privacy Policy is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
